THE 2013 BetVictor World Matchplay will take place from July 20-28 at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
The famous tournament will be staged for the 20th time next year, with Phil Taylor set to defend the title he claimed for an incredible 13th - and record-equalling fifth straight - occasion when he overcame James Wade this summer.
The tournament will begin on Saturday July 20 and be played for nine days live on Sky Sports HD, with the final taking place on Sunday July 28.
Tickets are likely to go on sale in January 2013 shortly after the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship, with further details to be announced in due course.
