Huge September Ahead On PDC Circuit

FOLLOWING the completion of the year's international World Series of Darts events, focus returns to Europe in September with a trio of PDC European Tour events and the inaugural Unibet Champions League of Darts.

August saw a PDC ProTour weekend in Barnsley followed by the Ladbrokes Sydney Darts Masters and TABtouch Perth Darts Masters, as the year's six international World Series events concluded.

Riesa in Germany will be the host for September's first of three PDC European Tour events, with the Sachsenarena hosting the HappyBet International Darts Open from September 2-4.

The action will be preceded on Thursday September 1 by the European Qualifier and Host Nation Qualifier for the International Darts Open and the European Qualifier for the following week's HappyBet European Darts Trophy.

The European Darts Trophy will be held from September 9-11 at the RWE Sporthalle in Muelheim, and will also be preceded by the Host Nation Qualifier on Thursday September 8.

The treble-header of European Tour events will then conclude with the HappyBet European Darts Grand Prix from September 16-18 at the Glaspalast in Sindelfingen, with the European Qualifier and Host Nation Qualifier being held on Thursday September 15.

All three events will be broadcast at www.LIVEPDC.TV and streamed through a series of bookmakers' websites which will be advertised at www.pdc.tv.

Tickets for PDC European Tour events can be purchased via www.pdc-europe.tv.

The month will also feature a PDC Unicorn Development Tour weekend on September 3-4 and a PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour double-header on September 10-11, both at the Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan.

A Players Championship treble-header will take place from September 20-22 at the Barnsley Metrodome before the world's top eight players gather at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena for the inaugural BBC-televised Unibet Champions League of Darts.

Tickets for the Champions League of Darts are still available and can be purchased from the Motorpoint Arena Box Office by calling 02920 22 44 88 or online here.

The month will conclude on Friday September 30 with the first of two Players Championship events at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin ahead of October's Unibet World Grand Prix.
