Close Shave For Jenkins

TERRY JENKINS will sport a new look at the Speedy Services UK Open, after shaving off his famous moustache for charity!

The seven-time major finalist raised over £1,000 by allowing world number three James Wade to shave his moustache off for the first time in 33 years at a charity night in Horsham last Friday.

The event was raising money for the Bradbury Enhanced Care Service, which is part of the Chailey Heritage Clinical Services which provides support for young adults with complex health needs, physical disabilities and life-limiting conditions and is based in Sussex.

The night also saw top players including Raymond van Barneveld, Simon Whitlock, Mark Webster, Paul Nicholson, Michael van Gerwen, Co Stompe and Vincent van der Voort join Jenkins and Wade in playing an exhibition.

Over £8,500 was raised during the event, which included a donation from sponsors Unicorn Darts.
