JOHN PART is hoping to continue his brilliant 2011 form with a successful Speedy Hire UK Open challenge next week.
The Canadian has won two Players Championships so far this year, whitewashing Mark Walsh and Denis Ovens respectively in his two finals.
Having slipped down to 32nd in the PDC Order of Merit, the three-time World Champion has show his best for since his most recent Alexandra Palace success in 2008 to begin his climb back up the rankings.
He will head to the UK Open in high spirits as he seeks to claim the £40,000 title at the Reebok Stadium, where he was the runner-up in 2004.
"This is a whole new John Part," said Part. "I think I'm different now and I'm a stonger player now in some ways, and people have got to watch out.
"I'm feeling really good about my scoring, I'm finishing really well and when I'm tripping up I'm just getting on with things and not letting it get to me.
"I feel good with how I'm playing. I've got a nice throw going, I'm scoring well and it's about making as few mistakes as possible. You can't make too many mistakes and expect to get wins.
"I'm trying to have the best attitude I can, and I think that really helps."
Tickets for the Speedy Hire UK Open are still available by calling 08448 712 932 or by visiting the Reebok Stadium Box Office.
