PHIL DANIELS won the Rileys Cardiff Qualifier to be the 32nd Rileys Qualifier for the Speedy Hire UK Open.
The 43-year-old print finisher from Newport defeated Dave Martin - last year's Rileys Cardiff Qualifier - 3-2 in the final.
He had also been taken to a deciding leg in the latter stages by Stephen James and Andrew Dudley, while PDC Unicorn Youth Tour player Brian Flew reached the semis before losing narrowly to Martin.
The Rileys Cardiff Qualifier had originally been planned to be played earlier in April, but was moved to May 1 following a bumper field of entries from across south Wales.
