SPEEDY will hold four qualifying events during April to give darts players a chance to win one of 16 places in the Speedy Hire UK Open.
The Speedy Hire UK Open - known as 'The FA Cup of Darts' as amateur qualifiers compete alongside the top professionals across four days in Bolton - will be played from June 2-5 at the Reebok Stadium.
Speedy will be offering 16 places in the tournament for amateur players, who can compete in Speedy Superstores in Bristol, Dartford, Stoke and Glasgow from April 12-15.
The events will give players the chance to throw 15 darts each, with the four highest scores from each venue winning a place in the UK Open.
"Existing Speedy customers are encouraged to enter, along with darts enthusiasts who are also interested in finding out more about Speedy's product and service offering," said Speedy's group marketing director Steve McIntyre.
"No other sporting event can offer an incentive like this, where fans can actually qualify to play their heroes in front of millions of TV viewers around the world.
"As if this wasn't enough, we have enlisted the help of former World Champion Andy Fordham, who will be at each event with some expert advice for each player.
"We couldn't be more excited about our sponsorship and hope as many people will attend the events as possible."
Players can register in advance via the Speedy Hire Darts website, or can compete by attending one of the four venues below on each day.
Each qualifier will be played from 11am-12.30pm and 1pm-3pm.
