DESPITE the heavy snowfall in north London, Saturday's Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship session will go ahead.
London, like much of the UK, has been hit by snowfall which has affected road and rail routes around the capital.
However, many players had already arrived at Alexandra Palace by mid-afternoon on Saturday - including 2010 runner-up Simon Whitlock, pictured - and Sky Sports' broadcast team are also in place to screen the event in High Definition.
Local trains to Alexandra Palace station are still running almost as per schedule.
Any further update will be issued here in due course.
