NORMAN MADHOO and Boris Krcmar are the latest international qualifiers for the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
Madhoo qualified for his third World Championship appearance with victory in the Carib Beer Caribbean & South American Masters event in Barbados.
He defeated another former qualifier, Anthony Forde, 4-2 in the final to book a second successive challenge at Alexandra Palace when the event begins next month.
The tournament saw five players from Barbados reach the quarter-finals, including Clyde Murrell, who defeated 2008 champion Sudesh Fitzgerald 3-2 in the last 16.
St Lucia's Martinus Alfred overcame another former winner, Winston Cadogan, 4-1, Murrell was defeated 4-3 by Guyana's Anthony Bisoomydal and Madhoo overcame Anthony Braithwaite without dropping a leg.
Forde's 4-2 win over Mark Griffith in an all-Bajan last eight game ensured one home semi-finalist, and he overcame Bisoomydal 4-1, while Madhoo defeated Alfred by the same scoreline.
Guyanese star Madhoo took victory in the final 4-2, and dedicated the win to Trevor Lloyd, the president of the Caribbean Darts Organisation who had collapsed during one of the Caribbean Darts Festival's other events and died from a heart attack.
Meanwhile, Croatia's Boris Krcmar will be his country's first representative after winning through the South European Qualifier, which was held in Otocec, Slovenia.
The event featured players from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia, Bulgaria and Hungary, with two former World Championship qualifiers, Nandor Bezzeg and Osmann Kijamet, losing out in the quarter-finals.
Krcmar defeated Zdravko Antunovic 6-4 in the final, having gone 4-3 down when the Croat took out 120 before he won three successive legs to take victory.
Krcmar also overcame Sebastijan Pecjak 6-3 in the semis and Gregory Gorjup by the same scoreline in the last eight.
