James Wade v Adrian Lewis
These are the two most talented players in the game, but which player is going to turn up is the flip of a coin.
Adrian Lewis didn't turn up in Belfast last week and ended up losing, and James Wade was the same against Phil Taylor.
I can't call this one and I'm going to say no bet for a match result. The only bet I am going to say is over 12.5 legs in the match at 1/2, because I believe it will go close.
Match Odds
James Wade 11/10, Draw 4/1, Adrian Lewis 11/8
Ronnie Baxter v Simon Whitlock
This will be a close game. Ronnie Baxter played really well in beating Mervyn King last week and Simon Whitlock was 8/9 on his doubles against Raymond van Barneveld.
Over 12.5 legs in the match at 4/6 seems to be the bet for me on this. I think Whitlock will run out a winner, but it will be close.
Match Odds
Ronnie Baxter 3/1, Draw 9/2, Simon Whitlock 1/2
Mervyn King v Terry Jenkins
For me, this is probably the draw of the night. Mervyn didn't play last week or over the weekend but Terry is showing signs of coming back on form.
I see this as a draw, and over 12.5 legs at 1/2 again in this seems to be the bet of the night in this game.
Match Odds
Mervyn King 5/6, Draw 7/1, Terry Jenkins 2/1
Raymond van Barneveld v Phil Taylor
On paper this should be the best game of the night, but I think Phil will run out an easy winner. He has been playing exceptionally well just lately, he won last week in Belfast and played really well in the ProTour events in Derby.
Raymond is not really on form and trying to find his form. It really is hard for Raymond and I see Phil running away an easy winner here.
Under 12.5 legs in this match at 1/2 seems to be another good bet.
Match Odds
Raymond van Barneveld 6/1, Draw 6/1, Phil Taylor 2/9
Rod's Specials
As a treble and a four-fold, do over 12.5 legs in the Wade-Lewis, Baxter-Whitlock and King-Jenkins matches and under 12.5 legs in the Taylor-Barneveld match.
My single bet of the night is Phil Taylor to be winning after six legs and winning at the end of the match at 8/13.
