Priestley Joins Stelling's Charity Walks

DARTS legend Dennis Priestley is to show his support for Prostate Cancer UK by taking part in Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling's Men United March.

Sky Sports presenter Stelling, who has previously covered PDC tournaments for the broadcaster, is walking ten marathons in as many days to take him from Hartlepool on March 21 to Wembley Stadium on March 30.

The 262-mile charity walk, in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, is aiming to raise £200,000 and is already on course to smash that target during the course of the ten-day walk.

Two-time World Champion Priestley will join Stelling on Thursday March 24 to walk from Rotherham United's New York Stadium - close to his home of Mexborough - therough to Chesterfield FC's Proact Stadium.

Priestley was diagonosed with prostate cancer in 2007 and underwent surgery and treatment to recover and return to action, and has been an active supporter of a number of charities since.
