Chisnall Kicks Off Students' Bullseye Challenge

DAVE CHISNALL helped to launch a special Sport Relief Bullseye Challenge at Central College Nottingham's Darts Academy on Thursday.

The Betway Premier League star visited the PDC-affiliated Academy ahead of his appearance in the city at the Motorpoint Arena, where he took on Michael van Gerwen.

As well as seeing the facilities in the Academy's "Room 180" and meeting staff and pupils, Chisnall helped to launch the college's Sport Relief fundraising effort.

The Bullseye Challenge gives students the chance to throw nine darts at the bull for each donation, scoring five points per bullseye and one point per outer-bull.

Chisnall set an opening target of 14 points for students to beat during their fundraising for Sport Relief over the next week, and said: "It's a great idea and gives all the students, not just the darts players, the chance to get involved for charity."

PDC stars Raymond van Barneveld, Michael Smith and Ian White have also taken part in the Sport Relief Bullseye Challenge - keep an eye on the @OfficialPDC Twitter page next week for videos of their attempts!

Darts fans are encouraged to get involved too by videoing your own nine-dart Bullseye Challenges and uploading to Twitter, tagging in @OfficialPDC and @SportatCentral with the #BullseyeChallenge hashtag.

Darts fans can also donate to Sport Relief via www.sportrelief.com.
