KEVIN McDINE won the West Tyrone Open on Sunday, defeating Kevin Painter 7-4 in the final.
McDine picked up £2,000 for winning the non-ranked tournament, and did it the hard way in the latter stages.
He defeated Peter Evison, Steve Beaton and Chris Mason to reach the final, before seeing off Painter to claim the title, hitting seven 180s in the 7-4 win.
Painter saw off Mickey Mansell 6-1 in the semis and was a 5-3 winner against Campbell Jackson at the last eight stage.
Mason, the winner of the event in 2006, overcame John-Joe Dolan in a deciding leg in the last eight, while Lionel Sams went down 5-4 to Mansell.
The weekend also saw Brendan Dolan win the Irish Open, defeating Paul Mein 5-4 in the final, and Peter Evison team up with Brian Cathcart to win the West Tyrone Open Doubles against Paul Dillon & Colin McGarry.
