SEVEN players qualified for the second round of the PartyBets.com Grand Slam of Darts on Sunday - but number one seed Raymond van Barneveld faces a must-win clash with Dennis Priestley in Wolverhampton on Monday.
The second day of the tournament saw seeded stars Phil Taylor, James Wade and Jelle Klaasen book their places in the knockout phase of the £300,000 tournament.
A second victory of the tournament for current PDC World Champion van Barneveld, though, was not enough to assure him of a spot in the second round.
The Dutchman was a 5-3 winner against Adrian Lewis, but Dennis Priestley's 5-4 win over Chris Mason means that all four players still have a chance of progressing on Monday.
Van Barneveld takes on Priestley, while Lewis and Mason also clash in the final round robin fixtures.
The other seven groups have all seen one player secure a spot in the last 16, as well as one player eliminated following the second day of the tournament.
Phil Taylor booked his place in Thursday's second round with a superb 5-1 win against Colin Lloyd, with his 104.8 average bettered by Roland Scholten.
The 2004 UK Open champion ensured progression from Group H with a stunning 110.21 average in winning his all-Dutch battle with Michael van Gerwen 5-1.
Gary Anderson's win over Wayne Jones by the same scoreline set up a winner-takes-all clash with Barrie Bates on Tuesday, with Kevin Painter now qualified for the second round and Wolverhampton ace Jones eliminated.
Shaun Greatbatch's 5-1 defeat of Peter Manley ended the former Las Vegas Desert Classic winner's hopes and set him up for a vital clash against Kevin McDine on Monday night, with Jelle Klaasen now assured of qualification.
Vincent van der Voort's win over South Africa's Charles Losper put Andy Hamilton into the last 16 and created a decider for the Dutchman against Terry Jenkins on Monday.
Lakeside Championship runner-up Phill Nixon and Australia's Pat Orreal will also play off on Monday night for the right to join James Wade in progressing from Group C.
A 5-3 win for Gary Mawson over Andy Jenkins put the American into the second round, with Jenkins and John Part clashing on Tuesday night for a place in the last 16.
