PAT ORREAL will represent Australia in the PartyBets.com Grand Slam of Darts, after Glenn Power had to withdraw from the tournament.
Power had initially won a place in Wolverhampton after taking victory in the inaugural DPA Australian Open in September.
However, Visa problems mean that Power has been forced to pull out of the event at Wolverhampton Civic from 17-25 November.
His place has been awarded to Australian Open runner-up Pat Orreal, from Brisbane.
"I'm naturally very disappointed, but wish Pat all the best in the Grand Slam of Darts," said Power.
Orreal, a 43-year-old who has previously had a nine-dart finish on the Australian circuit, will take on James Wade, Phill Nixon and Niels de Ruiter in the group stage of the Grand Slam of Darts.
"I am very honoured to be given this opportunity," said Orreal. "I can only hope I do Australia and the DPA proud."
Tickets for the PartyBets.com Grand Slam of Darts, which is being held from 17-25 November - are still available from the Midlands Box Office. Call 0870 320 7000 or visit www.wolvescivic.co.uk for more details.
