PETER MANLEY and Raymond van Barneveld are looking forward to their Keukenconcurrent Masters of Darts semi-finals, following a draw in the Holsten Premier League.
The pair returned to Holland on Friday following their 7-all draw when the Holsten Premier League Darts visited Nottingham.
It continued a hectic week for the duo, who were joined by Phil Taylor, Colin Lloyd and Roland Scholten on the plane back to the UK following the group stage of the Masters of Darts.
Manley, who topped the English group in Hengelo with five wins in as many matches, takes on Mervyn King in Saturday's semi-finals.
Van Barneveld will face teenager Michael van Gerwen in the other semi-final, meaning they could clash again in Sunday's decider in Holland.
Manley revealed following his stalemate with the Dutchman that a change of style and preparation has helped him return to top form this week.
"At the start of the evening in Nottingham, I'd have taken a draw but I was disappointed in the end," said "One Dart".
"I've started using a different way of playing and I'm getting myself prepared differently and it's going to take time.
"It's a little bit like Phil Taylor, maybe not as drastic as he is doing, but I've had a to take a look at my game.
"I still want to be around and match these boys, previously I wasn't so I've had to make changes.
"I've played well in the Masters of Darts and finished top against some class opposition and then gone to the Premier League and led Raymond.
"At 7-5, I must admit my arm was wobbling a bit but I will get there and I'm quite confident with how I am playing and I'll settle for a draw in this one."
Manley will meet King for the first time since the former World Masters champion's recent switch to the PDC in Saturday's best-of-11 set semi.
"Mervyn losing in the final game against Roland gives me a little bit of confidence," said Manley.
"I want to play relaxed and not under any pressure. I don't worry about winning or losing, I'm just going to enjoy my games and play the darts I can play.
"A couple of times I did that against Ray and I think he let me off maybe, but that's darts. The audience in Holland is different, but it's enjoyable.
"I've beaten him twice before, in the Dutch Open and Swiss Open semi-final. Mervyn's going to be a great addition to the PDC and I'm looking forward to the game."
Van Barneveld bounced back from losses to both Manley and King in the opening group games at the Masters of Darts to finish with a treble of victories.
"The last three matches went well and I'm feeling good," he said. "I'm happy with the way I've played in the last week.
"From 7-5 down to level it up against Peter, you are really pleased. I think Peter may have deserved to win. His 138 finish was fantastic - I was waiting on a double."
Van Barneveld admitted that he has felt jaded following his busy recent schedule, after taking the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship title from Phil Taylor 7-6 on New Year's Day.
"Before the World Championship I was practising all the time and on the treadmill, but you become World Champion and your life changes," he said.
"You can forget to practice or go to the gym, and then you start sweating again and people see you are vulnerable at the moment.
"Players see that, and I have to get back in shape."
Van Barneveld has lost his last three clashes with van gerwen, but feels he can end that run on Saturday evening.
"He is unbelievable," added van Barneveld. "He doesn't miss doubles very often and he's a killer.
"He won three of his matches but also lost two, and that could have been three if Mervyn King hit his doubles."
