BOARD ASSIGNMENTS for the SkyBet World Grand Prix PDPA Qualifiers, which will be held at the Newport Centre on Friday 11 September.
Budweiser UK Open champion Raymond van Barneveld will be among the 128 players attempting to win one of four places in the World Grand Prix next month.
John Kuczynski, Ray Carver, Bill Davis and Isen Veljic are travelling from America to compete over the weekend of events in Newport.
Gary Welding (pictured), Steve Hine, Kevin Harris and James Wade - who has now moved into the world's top 24 - were last year's four qualifiers.
The format is best of nine legs throughout, double start and double finish.
One player will qualify for the SkyBet World Grand Prix from boards 1-8, boards 9-16, boards 17-24 and board 25-32.
The "losing finalists" will win £500, with the "losing semi-finalists" winning £250.
The tournament will begin at 8pm with registration from 7pm. Spectators are welcome at the event.
