Sky Bet World Grand Prix Irish Qualifiers

THE deadline for the SkyBet World Grand Prix Irish Qualifiers has been extended to August 19th.

Four players from Ireland will join the top 24 players in the PDC along with four more PDPA qualifiers for a chance to be the SkyBet World Grand Prix champion.

The PDC will again head to Dublin this Autumn for one of the most exciting events in the darts calendar, which will see Colin Lloyd defend the title he won against Alan Warriner last year. The tournament is unique for it's 'Double In - Double Out' format.

Last year, unknown qualifier Andy Callaby knocked out reigning champion Phil Taylor in the first round, before going on to reach the quarter-finals alongside another new face, Gary Welding.

But it was Lloyd who took his first major title and the £20,000 winner's cheque at the end of the week in front of a sell-out crowd.

Tickets and accommodation packages for this year's event are now on sale from the CityWest Hotel Box Office, and can be booked via the following methods: Email: darts05@citywesthotel.com or Tel: Outside Ireland 00353 1401 0505 and domestic 01 401 0505.
