THE field of 48 players for February's Dutch Darts Masters has been confirmed following the Host Nation & European Qualifiers.
The year's first of ten PDC European Tour events, each worth £115,000 in prize money, will be played at the Evenementenhal in Venray from February 12-14.
The 48-player event sees the 32 qualifiers competing in the first round on Friday, before the 16 seeded players enter the action in Saturday's second round.
The tournament then concludes on Sunday, with the afternoon's third round followed in the evening session by the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
The 2015 Dutch Darts Masters was won by Michael van Gerwen when the tournament made a successful debut at the Evenementenhal, as he defeated Justin Pipe in the final.
Dutch aces Jelle Klaasen and Benito van de Pas are other home hopes in the top 16 seeds, while Dirk van Duijvenbode, Jan Dekker, Jermaine Wattimena and Remco van Eijden won through last weekend's Host Nation Qualifier.
World Champion Gary Anderson, World Grand Prix champion Robert Thornton and Betway Premier League stars Peter Wright, Adrian Lewis, James Wade, Dave Chisnall and Michael Smith are also in action in the event.
Belgian ace Kim Huybrechts, the winner of last year's final European Tour event, is also amongst the 16 seeded stars, while Simon Whitlock, Mervyn King, Stephen Bunting, Kevin Painter, Mark Webster and Ronnie Baxter were amongst the UK Qualifiers.
