THE countdown will continue to the year's opening European Tour event with the UK Qualifier for the HappyBet German Darts Championship taking place on Friday March 10.
The opening £135,000 European Tour event will be held in Hildesheim from March 24-26, where 48 players will compete across three days at Halle 39.
A total of 18 places will be available in the UK Qualifier in Barnsley this Friday, with a field of Tour Card Holders and PDPA Associate Members competing.
The field for the UK Qualifier also includes Raymond van Barneveld, who is unable to compete in the West & South Europe Qualifier due to his Betway Premier League commitments, under the new European Tour rules this year.
