AHEAD of the 2017 Unibet European Championship, we look at the form of the 32 qualifiers on the European Tour circuit this year.
The field for the European Championship is comprised of the top 32 players from the final European Tour Order of Merit, based on performances in the 12 European Tour events held this year.
Michael van Gerwen was a six-time winner, claiming four titles in Germany as well as victory on home soil at the Dutch Darts Masters as well as in Vienna.
Peter Wright was a five-time winner during the year, with each triumph coming in Germany, while Michael Smith won the Gibraltar Darts Trophy.
Here, we look back on each player's European Tour performances in 2017 ahead of this weekend's tournament at the Ethias Arena in Hasselt.
