DEVON PETERSEN hit a nine-dart finish as he won a spot in October's European Darts Grand Prix at the UK Qualifier in Barnsley on Friday night.
The South African star sealed his place in the year's final European Tour event by landing a perfect leg during his win over James Wilson which secured qualification, following wins over William O'Connor and Steve Douglas earlier in the night.
Former European Tour winner Steve Beaton also sealed a spot in next month's £115,000 event, defeating Jeff Batham and Ronnie Baxter in Barnsley.
Former Lakeside Champions Stephen Bunting and Mark Webster were also amongst the qualifiers, alongside last weekend's European Darts Matchplay semi-finalist Dave Pallett.
Welshman Gerwyn Price ovecame Stuart Harding and Arron Monk to qualify, while Jonny Clayton won the all-Welsh decider with Jamie Lewis to progress to the main event.
Former European Tour finalist Jamie Caven saw off Andy Jenkins and Curtis Hammond to qualify, while Dean Winstanley overcame Nigel Heydon and Mark Dudbridge as he won through.
Ricky Evans knocked out former European Tour winner Wes Newton in their decider, while Lee Evans saw off former Players Championship Finals winner Kevin Painter as he won through.
Dave Ladley followed up a 6-4 win over former World Matchplay champion with a brace of 6-1 victories as he progressed, with Northern Ireland's Mickey Mansell, Scotland's Mark Barilli, Robbie Green, Stephen Willard, Johnny Haines and Mark Walsh also qualified.
The remaining places in the 48-player field for the European Darts Grand Prix will come from the European Qualifier and Host Nation Qualifier, to be held on Thursday October 15 in Sindelfingen.
The European Darts Grand Prix will then be held from October 16-18 at the Glaspalast, and streamed live online through www.LIVEPDC.TV and a series of bookmakers' websites.
