Talented Tomoya made his mark on debut at Alexandra Palace last year, dumping out former quarter-finalist Ian White before succumbing to Ryan Searle in round two of the World Darts Championship.

The 28-year-old has represented Japan in the last three editions of the World Cup of Darts, and he will make an immediate return to the capital after winning the inaugural Japan Tour Finals in September 2024.
