Terry Jenkins, the 2007 champion, is the number one seed for Saturday's tournament, while Phil Taylor is bidding for a sixth successive PDC Pro Tour victory.
World number one Raymond van Barneveld is also in action, while Jason Clark returns from suspension.
The field will be completed by eight qualifiers from a knockout staged on Friday night.
Update - Please note that Wayne Mardle has withdrawn from the tournament due to a back problem. Mardle opted to remain in the UK for treatment on the injury following the Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts in Liverpool on Thursday.
