Romeo Grbavac will made his Paddy Power World Darts Championship next month after winning the East Europe Qualifier on Sunday.
The 30-year-old from Makarska has enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2024 and will now get his chance on the sport's biggest stage at Alexandra Palace.
He won an all-Croatian final in the East Europe Qualifier at the Amsterdam Club in Nove Zamky, seeing off Tomislav Rosandic 7-3 to seal his World Championship debut.
Grbavac also overcame Polish duo Sebastian Bialecki and Krzysztof Kciuk in the latter stages, having dropped only three legs in his earlier wins over Jerzy Kobylarz, Karol Krnac and Alexander Masek.
Having made his World Cup of Darts debut in 2023, Grbavac also competed alongside Boris Krcmar earlier this year in Frankfurt.
He also made his European Tour debut with three appearances in 2024 alongside two Players Championship challenges, while he finished 58th on the PDC Winmau Challenge Tour Order of Merit.
