THE PDC has now confirmed the Order of Merit rules for 2009 tournaments.
A number of amendments to the PDC Calendar have been made and can be seen here, as well as detailed below.
There are also some operational changes for players to be aware of during this year.

TOURNAMENT ENTRIES
The entry deadline for players to enter PDC Pro Tour events will now be 12pm (UK time) on the Wednesday before that specific event.
The list of entries will be published on the PDC website later that week, with the draws being finalised on the day in accordance with the 2009 regulations.
Players should note that the registration deadline on the day of the event will now be 11am rather than 11.45am and strictly adhered to in order to complete the tournament draw.
In addition, players who are PDPA members must now enter all events online via the PDC Online Entry system which can be accessed here or via the Players link to the left.
Non-members from outside the UK are able to enter non-UK Players Championships on payment of an entry fee plus Day Membership. Full details can be found in Section 4 of the Order of Merit document.
PDC US OPEN/NORTH AMERICAN DARTS CHAMPIONSHIP
The PDC US Open will now be a $50,000 tournament to be staged on a double-header weekend in Atlanta in August.
A £22,000 Players Championship will be held on August 22, with the US Open on August 23.
BLUE SQUARE UK OPEN - PUB QUALIFIERS
The competing outlets for the Holsten Pub Qualifiers are currently being confirmed and will be announced shortly.
It is currently planned for in-house knockouts to be played by March 27, with winners progressing to one of four Regional Finals to be held on April 25 & 26.
LADBROKES.COM WORLD DARTS CHAMPIONSHIP
There will be no knockout PDPA Qualifier for the 2010 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship, with the 16 PDPA qualifiers coming from the Players Championship Order of Merit.
CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE DARTS
The 2009 Championship League Darts will again be held over nine days at Crondon Park GC in Essex.
The first three days will be from September 15-17, groups four-six will be September 22-24 and the last two groups will be played on October 20 and 21.
The Winners Group will be held on October 22.
Invitations will be issued based on rankings after the Stan James World Matchplay.
