KRZYSZTOF KCUIK has won the Polish Qualifier for the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
Kcuik will compete in the preliminary round at Alexandra Palace next month after taking a 6-1 win over Tomasz Mikolajczyk in the final of the Polish Qualifier.
Kcuik led 3-0 before Mikolajczyk took a leg, but another three successive legs saw Kcuik seal the win to become the first Polish player to compete in the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
He is also expected to compete in the forthcoming German Darts Championship, on November 28 & 29, in Halle for his first taste of life amongst the world's top players.
Kcuik dropped just four legs in defeating Arkadiusz Niekrasz and Artur Siekierski in the quarter-finals and semi-finals, after whitewashing Michal Sebastian Gajos in the last 16.
