COLIN OSBORNE is preparing to work his magic against Simon Whitlock in the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
Osborne will face Australian star Whitlock in the first round of the World Championship at Alexandra Palace on Tuesday December 22.
The match pits together two players who share the "Wizard" nickname - adding extra spice to a game which already promises to be one of the highlights of the first round.
"I could not have asked for a tougher draw," Osborne, the UK Open finalist and Championship League Darts winner this year, told the Daily Mirror.
"Simon has been around 15 years longer than me, so if he wants to call himself the 'original' Wizard, that's fine - what matters is which Wizard makes it into the second round."

"It's given me great confidence to have beaten Phil," added Osborne. "That's the level I should aim for every week.
"I'm not content to be a gallant loser and that's the approach I'll be taking into my match with Simon."
