ENTRIES are still available for the first weekend of the 2015 PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour, which will be held on March 21-22 at the Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan.
The PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour allows PDPA Associate Members to compete in a series of 16 tournaments throughout the year, each worth £10,000 in prize money, with events held over four weekends with two events per day.
In a new development for 2015, players are able to sign up to a "Challenge Tour Only" PDPA Associate Membership for a one-off fee of £250, plus normal event entry fees.
This would allow players, aged 16 or over, to enter Challenge Tour events during 2015 and can be made by contacting the PDPA via www.pdpa.co.uk or by calling +44 (0)1228 594 273.
Entries for PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour events cost £50 per tournament, with entries closing at 2pm on the Friday immediately prior to the weekend of the tournaments.
Players must enter through the PDC Online Entry System, with any players who do not yet have login details since Qualifying School needing to contact the PDC by calling 08712 501 180 during office hours.
In addition to the £10,000 prize money per event, the leading two players from the 2015 PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour Order of Merit will receive two-year PDC Tour Cards, with players 3-8 receiving free entry to the 2016 PDC Qualifying School.

Each day's play will see registration for the opening event close at 10am, with play in the opening event commencing at 11am. Play in the day's second event will begin as soon as possible following the completion of the opening event.
NB: Details of entries for the PDC Unicorn Development Tour, for players aged 16-23, will be announced in the near future, with the opening weekend being held on April 25-26.
