WES NEWTON was amongst eight players who enjoyed a double success in Friday's UK Qualifiers for the German Darts Masters and Dutch Darts Masters European Tour events, as Kyle Anderson landed a nine-dart finish.
Two-time major finalist Newton won a European Tour event in Germany at Easter in 2013, and earned his spot in next month's Munich event as he came through Friday night's UK Qualifier at the Barnsley Metrodome.
The Fleetwood ace defeated Kevin Thomas and Brian Woods as he sealed a spot in the German Darts Masters, before then overcoming Martyn Turner and James Wilson to win a place in the Dutch Darts Masters in Venray in June.
Ireland's William O'Connor maintained his strong form following last weekend's Coral UK Open as he qualified for both events, winning six games on the night.
Kent youngster Josh Payne also won six games on the night as he enjoyed double qualification, with Scottish duo John Henderson and Gary Stone also winning places in both events alongside Norfolk's Darren Webster.
Shropshire youngster Pallett knocked out three-time major finalist Andy Hamilton as he qualified for both events, while Northern Ireland's Daryl Gurney claimed the scalps of Colin Lloyd and Ronnie Baxter as he won spots in the two European Tour events.
Australian ace Kyle Anderson achieved a nine-dart finish as he qualified for the Dutch Darts Masters, landing the perfect leg during his decider against Alan Tabern before edging out the left-hander 6-5 with an 11-darter in the final leg of their contest.
Jamie Caven defeated Kevin Lane and Paul Milford as he qualified for the German Darts Masters, having already been an automatic seed for the Dutch Darts Masters.
Dean Winstanley bounced back from a defeat to Andy Boulton in the German Darts Masters decider as he qualified for the Dutch Darts Masters with wins over Michael Barnard and Ross Twell.
Boulton was later denied a spot in the Dutch Darts Masters with a deciding-leg defeat to Wayne Jones.
UK Open semi-finalist Andrew Gilding qualified for the German Darts Masters alongside Canada's Ken MacNeil, who marked his return to the PDC ProTour with a win over Stephen Bunting as he claimed a spot in Munich.
Northern Irish left-hander Mickey Mansell returned to action following the knee operation which forced him to miss the UK Open, and he qualified for the German Darts Masters by defeating Robbie Green and Dave Chisnall.
World Youth Champion Keegan Brown, Welsh youngsters Jamie Lewis and Kurt Parry and Scotland's Jamie Bain joined experienced trio Andy Smith, Dennis Smith and Lee Palfreyman in winning spots in the German Darts Masters.
Alan Norris will make his European Tour debut in the Dutch Darts Masters after he defeated Baxter and Ian Moss, while Nathan Aspinall - who impressed in the UK Open last week - also qualified for his first European Tour event by seeing off Dennis Smith, Trevor Burkhill and Stuart Kellett.
The other Dutch Darts Masters qualifiers were Welsh ace Gerwyn Price, Joe Cullen, Ricky Evans, Brett Claydon, Jonny Clayton, Jamie Robinson and Prakash Jiwa.
The field for each European Tour event will be finalised following the Host Nation Qualifier - which produces four players - and the European Qualifier, which will find eight stars to compete in the £115,000 tournaments.
