PETER MACHIN and David Platt shared the spoils in the DPA's Australian Grand Prix double-header in Adelaide.
Machin claimed the win in Saturday's opening event at the Northern District Darts Club - five years after previously winning on the DPA circuit at the same venue - by defeating Rob Modra 6-4 in the final.
He also defeated Danny Porter, Robbie King, Barry Gardner and Daniel Sim in the knockout phase of the tournament.
Machin was a last 32 loser in Sunday's event as youngster King gained revenge for his loss 24 hours earlier, although he went on to lose to Loz Ryder in the last 16.
David Platt claimed his second AGP victory inside a month as he went on to win Sunday's event, whitewashing Raymond O'Donnell in the final.
Platt also saw off Steve Gordon and Graham Hall without dropping a leg in the knockout stage of the event, and defeated Saturday's runner-up Modra and Chris Vasey on his way to the win.
