Tindall Wins Betway Challenge

RUGBY World Cup winner Mike 'The Tornado' Tindall secured bragging rights over football rivals Joey O'Brien, James Collins and Kevin Nolan, taking victory in the first ever #RugbyvFootball head-to-head leg of 501, live at the Betway Premier League Play-Offs.

Betway ambassador and former England captain Tindall lived up to his billing as Betway's 1/6 red hot favourite, sealing victory with a double 15, which he hit with his first attempt.

Underdog Joey 'The Green Arrow 'Ammer' O'Brien, who was a 3/1 shot ahead of the match, represented the football world alongside pals Kevin Nolan and James Collins at the oche.

O'Brien assembled his team after beating his West Ham United teammates Carlton Cole, James Collins, Carl Jenkinson, Kevin Nolan, Diego Poyet, Winston Reid and Alex Song in Betway's #HammersAtTheArrers tungsten tournament at the club's training ground.

"The pressure was on, going in as hot favourite with the pride of the rugby world at stake!" said Tindall. "I was pretty keen to win but they made me work for it. It was a great feeling when the final arrow hit the target."

West Ham's O'Brien said: "It might not have been the result the football lads were after but it was a great experience to take on Mike Tindall alongside Kevin Nolan and James Collins at the darts.

"I'll wait for the stick to die down first, but 'The Green Arrow 'Ammer' will live to fight another day."

Betway's Alan Alger said: "Betway has finally settled the age old #RugbyvFootball debate, for now.

"Congratulations to Mike 'The Tornado' Tindall, who affirmed his status as hot favourite. Who knows, perhaps Joey 'The Green Arrow 'Ammer' O'Brien and his teammates will be calling for a rematch?"
