Special bwin Offer For Grand Slam

Michael van Gerwen (Lawrence Lustig/PDC)

DARTS fans can take advantage of a great offer to back Michael van Gerwen at the bwin Grand Slam of Darts next week.

Tournament sponsors bwin have installed Van Gerwen as the 19/20 pre-event favourite as the Dutchman bids to claim a third successive Wolves Civic title.

However, bwin also have a special offer of 25/1 for Van Gerwen to not only win the tournament but also hit a nine-dart finish and a 170 checkout during the nine-day event from November 11-19.

bwin also have the following offers for the group stage of the event:

Gerwyn Price to win Group B @ 2/1
The Welshman beat Scott Waites and Robert Thornton to top his group 12 months ago and returns in good heart after reaching the World Series of Darts quarter-finals, giving Gary Anderson a good test before going down 10-8.

Glen Durrant to qualify from Group E @ Evens
Durrant reached the knockout rounds last year following 5-0 and 5-1 wins, plus a 5-4 loss to Anderson, before performing with credit in a 10-7 defeat against Raymond van Barneveld.

Stephen Bunting to win Group F @ 187/100
Dave Chisnall heads the betting in this section but he has not been at his best recently, so former Lakeside Champion Bunting gets the vote.

The St Helens thrower reached the quarter-finals here three years ago and should be fired up following a trio of victories at Monday's PDC Tour Card Holders' Qualifier in Wigan.
