NATHAN ASPINALL sealed a spot in the semi-finals of the William Hill World Championship after a comfortable victory over Brendan Dolan at Alexandra Palace.

Aspinall won the first set without dropping a leg before edging the second set 3-2.
A brilliant 132 finish helped the 27-year-old win set three by two legs - and a 122 checkout set him on his way to another 3-1 set success, moving the Ally Pally debutant four sets clear.
Dolan reeled off three straight legs to finally get a set on the board but Aspinall wrapped up another 3-1 set, completing the win with a 96 finish to reach the last four.
