Peter Wright is aiming to maintain his superb form going into the World Series of Darts treble-header in Australia and New Zealand - and insists he can claim three more titles!
Wright won his second German Darts Masters title last month and followed that success in Cologne with back-to-back Players Championship triumphs.
The flamboyant Scot will be defending his Melbourne Darts Masters title on August 16-17, after first challenging this weekend in the Brisbane Darts Masters at the BCEC.
He is also aiming to claim the NZ Darts Masters title in Hamilton on August 23-24 - and believes that he can return from Down Under with a trio of titles!
"I feel really good - I think I can win all of them," said a bullish Wright.
"I'm going in there as number one seed. As number one seed, all the guys have got to try and beat me."
Wright was a quarter-finalist in the Betfred World Matchplay recently, losing out to Daryl Gurney in a high-quality contest after previously seeing off Vincent van der Voort and Simon Whitlock with strong performances.
"I played consistent but I missed lots of doubles that let him in," reflected Wright. "He didn't lie down, he played fantastic so hats off to him.
"I said that whoever's going to beat me has got to play well, and he played well."
