Jamie Hughes is beginning his recovery from surgery to repair a long-standing elbow problem.
The Tipton ace has suffered with an elbow injury for around 18 months since just after he won the Czech Darts Open.
He was initially treated for pain and mobility issues within the joint, before an MRI scan last October discovered a piece of loose bone.
Hughes lost in straight sets to Adam Hunt in the second round of the William Hill World Darts Championship last month, and has now undergone surgery to remove the loose bone.

The 34-year-old is facing between six and ten weeks to recover from the operation, but was in good spirits when joking on social media following surgery.
