Two milestones were achieved in the history of the William Hill World Darts Championship on Thursday, as the millionth dart was thrown and the 30 millionth point was scored.
The 29th staging of the World Championship has seen a host of dramatic five-set ties in the pre-Christmas period, racking up the number of darts thrown and points scored.
Callan Rydz was the first to secure a spot in the record books, scoring the 30 millionth point in the event's history in a 125 score during the third set of his win over Brendan Dolan.
Lewy Williams then threw the millionth dart in the PDC's World Championship during his second round tie with Gabriel Clemens, landing a single 20 in the second leg of the third set.
