Qualification criteria has been confirmed for the 2024 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts, which will take place in Wolverhampton in November.
The prestigious 32-player tournament returns to the WV Active Aldersley from November 9-17, as the sport’s biggest names battle it out for the iconic Eric Bristow Trophy.
Reigning Grand Slam champion and World Champion Luke Humphries headlines this year’s confirmed field so far alongside three-time winner Michael van Gerwen and 2022 champion Michael Smith.
The finalists from PDC televised events over a 12-month period and additional qualifiers will make up to 24 places at this year’s Grand Slam, with 11 players currently qualified.
Premier League champion Luke Littler, Masters champion Stephen Bunting, UK Open champion Dimitri Van den Bergh and World Cup winner Smith are among the players to have won televised events so far during the qualifying period.
Rob Cross, Van Gerwen, Rowby-John Rodriguez and Mensur Suljovic qualify as runners-up in TV events.
World Youth Championship runner-up Gian van Veen and Women's World Matchplay champion Beau Greaves have confirmed their qualification, and will be joined by winners of the CDC Continental Cup, PDC Asian Championship, Challenge Tour, Development Tour and Women’s Series Order of Merit winners.
The World Grand Prix, European Championship and World Series of Darts Finals provide further opportunities for players to seal their qualification through TV events.
If the 24 places are not filled from TV event winners, runners-up and additional qualifiers, winners from the 2024 PDC European Tour and then Players Championship events could also secure Grand Slam spots.
A further eight players will also come through the PDC Tour Card Holder Qualifier on November 1, which will see the 32-player field finalised.
