Kumar wins Indian Qualifier to secure Ally Pally return

Nitin Kumar secured his place in the 2024/25 Paddy Power World Darts Championship with victory at the Indian Qualifier in Kolkata on Monday.

Kumar won all 20 of his matches across the two-day qualifier to seal a return to Alexandra Palace, where he has competed on three previous occasions.

The 38-year-old defeated Sangam Kumar Roy 5-1 in the final, having defeated Aayush Kothari and Akshay Mehta in the quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively.

A former Indian World Cup of Darts representative, Kumar gained further big stage experience on the 2023 World Series of Darts at the Bahrain Darts Masters.
