The Professional Darts Corporation announces Uber Eats as the Official Food Delivery Partner.
The exciting announcement sees a new strategic partnership across multiple PDC events throughout the year to engage with darts fans across the United Kingdom and Ireland, starting from this week’s Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts, where the logo is visible on the iconic stage as the leading names in darts look to capture the title each day this week, building up to the final on Sunday November 17.
This has been accompanied by a range of activity from Uber Eats to engage with consumers in-person at the event and across the wider Midlands region by utilising the PDC’s ever-growing digital channels, as well as working with Uber Eats’ local restaurant partners.
Leading PDC players - including World Grand Prix winner Mike De Decker and European Champion Ritchie Edhouse - have paid visits to Uber Eats’ key restaurants in the region throughout the week providing ‘money-can’t-buy opportunities’ for them to meet and compete against some of the leading names in darts.
The partnership will then continue and broaden its reach to engage with PDC fans across all regions of the United Kingdom and Ireland through the 2025 Premier League campaign, where eight of the sport's top players visit major cities during the 17-week roadshow from February to May, as Luke Littler looks to regain his crown that he captured for the first time earlier this year.
"We’re incredibly excited to partner with the Professional Darts Corporation as the Official Food Delivery Partner for two of the biggest tournaments across the UK & Ireland,” said Jon Blundell, Senior Commercial Operations Manager for Uber Eats.
“This partnership offers a unique opportunity to bring the excitement of the PDC to fans nationwide while showcasing the fantastic selection of local restaurants available on Uber Eats.
We’re proud to play a role in enhancing the experience for darts fans by bringing them closer to the best of local food around the events whilst continuing to support our fantastic restaurant & grocery partners."
PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter said: "We are delighted to welcome Uber Eats as our Official Food Delivery Partner.
"It’s great to work with such a globally iconic brand to help them achieve their objectives of engaging with PDC fans right across the UK and we are excited to see how this could grow across further events in the future.
It has been a record-breaking 12-months for the sport and we’re excited to continue building on that success with Uber Eats.”
