2025 Bahrain Darts Masters field confirmed

Luke Littler (PDC)

Newly crowned World Champion Luke Littler and world number one Luke Humphries will headline the 2025 Bahrain Darts Masters next week, with the 16-player field now finalised.

The first World Series of Darts event of 2025 will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit on January 16-17, as eight PDC superstars take on eight Asian representatives in the two-day event.

Littler marked his arrival on the global stage with a nine-darter on his way to victory at last year's Bahrain Darts Masters, following his record-breaking run to the 2023/24 World Championship final.

The teenager lifted the unique date palm trophy in the Bahrain International Circuit's Dome to triumph on his World Series debut, and went on to win the Premier League and Grand Slam before his incredible 2024/25 World Championship triumph.

Littler is joined in this year's Bahrain Darts Masters by seven other top PDC stars - led by world number one Humphries, who won the World Cup of Darts, World Matchplay and Players Championship Finals in 2024.

World Championship semi-finalists Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey will make their first visits to Bahrain to compete in the event, following their inclusion in the 2025 Premier League.

Former World Champions Rob Cross and Gerwyn Price also return for the third edition of the Bahrain Darts Masters, alongside 2023 World Matchplay winner Nathan Aspinall.

Two-time World Champion Peter Wright completes the eight-player PDC line-up, with Dutch superstar Michael van Gerwen missing out on the event due to family commitments.

The Asian representatives include six players from the PDC Asian Tour who competed at the World Darts Championship, with PDC Asian Champion Lourence Ilagan one of three Filipino stars in action.

Ilagan will be joined by 2024 PDC Asian Tour Order of Merit winner Alexis Toylo and Paolo Nebrida, who dumped out Jim Williams and Ross Smith to reach the last 32 at Alexandra Palace.

Hong Kong’s Lok Yin Lee has been included after his run to the second round at the World Darts Championship, while China’s Xiaochen Zong and India’s Nitin Kumar will also lock horns against the PDC’s elite.

The 16-player field is completed by Bahrain duo Basem Mahmood and Abdulla Saeed, who won through last month’s Bahrain Qualifiers to confirm their World Series of Darts returns.

The Bahrain Darts Masters is organised by BIC and sports promoter CBX and supported by Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority (BTEA).

The event's growing popularity is shown by record ticket sales in advance of the third Bahrain Darts Masters.

Premium seating tickets, which include stage-side tables, are available, as well as VIP hospitality for the event.

All ticket options can be found online here or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17450000.

The Bahrain Darts Masters will be broadcast live on PDCTV in all territories other than Germany, Austria & Switzerland (coverage via DAZN), while UK viewers can watch live coverage on ITV4.
