The 2025 Championship Darts Corporation season begins on Friday as the Cross-Border Darts Challenge commences in California.
HitKor in Simi Valley hosts the annual two-day event, as 16 players from America and Canada compete for the title and a spot in the 2025 bet365 US Darts Masters and North American Championship.
Last year had seen Alex Spellman land a nine-darter during his glorious campaign, and the American star opens his title defence against Jason Roker.
2024 Continental Cup winner Leonard Gates will face Chris Caldwell in his opener, while Stowe Buntz meets Albert Anstey.
Experienced Canadian star Jeff Smith will face Jeff Springer, while Jacob Taylor plays former UK Open finalist Gary Mawson in another high-profile tie.
Former US Darts Masters qualifiers Doug Boehm and Adam Sevada meet Steve Warnock and Kiley Edmunds respectively, while Jake Womack takes on Jack Robinson.
Following Friday's first round ties, the tournament concludes on Saturday with the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
