Noa-Lynn van Leuven sealed back-to-back PDC Women's Series titles in brilliant fashion in Rosmalen, winning Events Nine and Ten as she looks to close the gap on Beau Greaves.
Van Leuven had not progressed beyond the quarter-finals in the previous eight Women’s Series events held this year, but a return to home soil provided a change in fortune.
The 28-year-old conceded just five legs on her way to Event Nine glory at the Autotron, closing out an emphatic 5-0 victory over Stefanie Lueck to clinch a first Women’s Series crown of 2025.
Lueck performed superbly to become the first German player to reach a Women’s Series final, although she was swept aside by Van Leuven, who wrapped up victory with a 15-dart leg.
Van Leuven’s demolition of Lueck was preceded by wins over Dutch duo Kyana Frauenfelder and Kim Palstra, while she also stormed to a 5-1 victory over compatriot Aileen de Graaf in the last four.
The Dutch star had earlier whitewashed Finland’s Anu Rasmus in the second round, before producing her best performance of the campaign in a 5-2 quarter-final success against Gemma Hayter.
Van Leuven continued her winning run in the second event of the day, as she whitewashed compatriot Diana van Eekelen, before Julia Siek succumbed to the same outcome.
The former World Championship qualifier then saw off the Order of Merit leader Beau Greaves, beating the Doncaster darter 4-2 before easing past Jade Gofford 5-1 in the last eight to book her place in the semi-finals.
Van Leuven would then go on to beat Dana Verhaegen 5-3 to set up a tie with Rhian O'Sullivan for Event Ten glory, which she would go on to win 5-1.
That Event Ten victory marked van Leuven's sixth Women's Series title, which equals the tally of Japanese star Mikuru Suzuki.
The top two players from the final PDC Women's Series Order of Merit will qualify to compete in the 2025/26 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, with the Order of Merit leader also qualifying for the 2025 Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts.
The top eight players on the Order of Merit after Event 16 will also qualify for the 2025 Betfred Women's World Matchplay, which will take place in Blackpool on July 27.
This weekend’s PDC Women's Series action will conclude with Events 11-12 in Rosmalen on Sunday, and live coverage will get underway from approximately 0900 BST on PDCTV.
