Tour Card Holder Qualifiers for the opening two PDC European Tour events of 2025 took place in Wigan on Wednesday, with three-time European Tour event winner Joe Cullen headlining the list of qualifiers.
The 2025 European Tour will travel across seven nations this year, with a second visit to Switzerland accompanied by events in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary.
The Belgian Darts Open (ET1) will take place at the Oktoberhallen in Wieze from March 7-9, before the European Darts Trophy (ET2) is held in Göttingen from March 21-23.
Tour Card Holder Qualifiers for ET1-2 took place at the Robin Park Leisure Centre on Wednesday afternoon, with each qualifier producing ten players per event.
Ryan Joyce landed a brace of ton-plus averages to book his place in ET1, with French star Thibault Tricole dispatching Kim Huybrechts to deny the Belgian a return to home soil.
Canadian duo Matt Campbell and Jim Long also sealed their places in next month's Belgian Darts Open, as Long confirmed his European Tour debut along with Cam Crabtree, who whitewashed Andrew Gilding in the final round of qualification.
Crabtree averaged 109 in an earlier win over Nathan Rafferty, although James Hurrell produced the performance of the day, averaging 110.57 to defeat a brilliant Lukas Wenig, before seeing off Kai Gotthardt in a straight qualification shoot-out.
Darryl Pilgrim averaged 103 in his deciding-leg victory over Karel Sedlacek, and he will be joined in Wieze by Owen Bates, Matthew Dennant and Thomas Lovely.
Cullen headlined the list of ten qualifiers for the European Darts Trophy, defying a 103 average from Bates and overturning a 5-4 deficit against Stephen Burton to secure his spot in Göttingen.
Alan Soutar landed a ton-plus average to seal his qualification at the expense of Wenig, after German youngsters Niko Springer and Dominik Gruellich secured their returns to home soil.
Grand Slam runner-up Martin Lukeman, World Championship quarter-finalist Callan Rydz and emerging Dutchman Kevin Doets also advanced through the ET2 Qualifier, after defeating Huybrechts, Dom Taylor and Wesley Plaisier respectively.
Ricky Evans produced a superb display to sweep aside Mensur Suljovic and confirm his European Tour return, with Connor Scutt and Adam Hunt completing the list of qualifiers.
European Tour events will now see 16 seeds from the PDC Order of Merit exempt to the last 32 for each tournament, with the first round seeing 16 ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers drawn against the other 16 qualifiers.
