All Eyes On Glasgow!

FOLLOWING the completion of the SINGHA Beer Grand Slam of Darts, the focus of the darting world shifts to next weekend's Unibet World Series of Darts Finals in Glasgow.

The inaugural Unibet World Series of Darts Finals will see 24 players competing across two days at the Braehead Arena, live on ITV4.

Saturday sees the afternoon session's first round feature the 16 players who were international prospects, PDC invitations and qualifiers, who will be doing battle for the right to take on the eight seeded stars in the evening's second round.

Sunday's Finals Day will then see the quarter-finals held in the afternoon session and the semi-finals and final take place in the evening session.

Australian pair Simon Whitlock and Kyle Anderson are amongst the stars in action in the first round, alongside Grand Slam of Darts semi-finalist Michael Smith, Scotland's recent World Grand Prix winner Robert Thornton, nine-time major finalist Terry Jenkins and World Youth Champion Keegan Brown.

The legendary Phil Taylor heads the field of seeded stars in the evening session, having won the PDC's World Series of Darts events in Japan, Perth and Sydney earlier this year.

Auckland Darts Masters winner Adrian Lewis is the number two seed and Dubai Darts Masters champion Michael van Gerwen - who also won last weekend's Grand Slam of Darts - will be the number three seed.

Scottish hero Gary Anderson, the reigning World Champion and Premier League champion, is joined by his World Cup team-mate Peter Wright, English pair James Wade and Stephen Bunting and Holland's Raymond van Barneveld as the other seeded stars.

Tickets for the Unibet World Series of Darts Finals can be booked online through Ticketmaster, by calling 0844 499 1700 or in person at the Braehead Arena Box Office (open Thurs-Sat). Easy Access Seats/Wheelchair Bookings via 0141 886 8300.
