PUNCH TAVERNS are hosting a series of nationwide knockouts for 32 players to win a place at the 2007 Blue Square UK Open.
Over 1,000 Punch Taverns houses will be holding in-house knockouts over the coming weeks, with winners moving through to a second stage.
House Knockouts, which are free to enter, will take place until Sunday 4 March.
Entry is open to all players, except those who have competed in any Blue Square UK Open Regional Finals for the 2006-2007 tournaments.
Information packs have been sent to all participating Punch Taverns pubs. However, players are encouraged to organise their own play-offs in a pub should that Punch Taverns house not be running and event. Simply print off the attached forms (below) and ask the landlord.
Winners will then progress to the second stage, with Regional Finals following on 12 and 13 May to discover the 32 players who will compete at the Reebok Stadium in June.
