LIMITED tickets remain for the Blue Square UK Open in June - but fans still have the chance to see young star Michael van Gerwen in action.
The UK Open televised finals will take place at Bolton's Reebok Stadium from 7-10 June, with 176 players battling it out for £150,000 in prize money.
Dutch teenage sensation van Gerwen will be in action on the opening night on Thursday 7 June, in his first major tournament since moving to the PDC.
The 17-year-old will be joined by two legends of the game on Thursday evening, with "Big Cliff" Lazarenko and former World Champion Richie Burnett also in action.
Thursday's play will also see the 32 Punch Taverns Qualifiers join the professional players in the field for the Preliminary and First Rounds.
Friday's Second Round action will involve former Lakeside Champion Jelle Klaasen, Bolton star Paul Williams and 2005 UK Open Finalist Mark Walsh.
Entering that evening at the Third Round stage will be three ex-World Champions, John Part, Bob Anderson and Keith Deller, alongside Ronnie Baxter, Mark Dudbridge and Chris Mason.
"These first two nights epitomise why this event has been labelled as the 'FA Cup of Darts'," said PDC Chief Executive Tim Darby.
"Amateur qualifiers will get the chance to rub shoulders with - and perhaps take on - some of the biggest names in the sport in Michael van Gerwen, Jelle Klaasen and Cliff Lazarenko in the early rounds.
"The winners will then get to join players such as John Part on Friday night, when the action will intensify further."
Tickets are priced at £10 per night and available from the Reebok Stadium Box Office on 0871 871 2932.
Tickets for both sessions on Saturday and Sunday have now sold out.
