DAVID FATUM'S run to the semi-finals of the PartyPoker.net PDC US Open has seen him break into the top 100 on the PDC Order of Merit.
The Canadian was the most successful north American in the PDC US Open last weekend, battling through to the last four before losing to Colin Lloyd.
The £5,000 prize money he won has seen him move up with 86th in the world, above fellow countryman Darin Young.
Fatum recently joined the PDPA after previously participating in ranked events on the PDC's North American circuit.
He will travel to the UK next month to take part in the two Players Championship tournaments in Bristol, and then participate in the PartyPoker.net Las Vegas Desert Classic Qualifiers.
Roger Carter's progression to the last 16 moves him up to 92nd, while quarter-finalist Ray Carver jumped into the top 50, moving from 53rd to 49th in the Order of Merit.
Further up the standings, PDC US Open winner Phil Taylor has closed the gap on Raymond van Barneveld to less than £2,000 going into the Blue Square UK Open in his bid to regain the world number one title.
Colin Lloyd, the PDC US Open runner-up, moved above Roland Scholten and Andy Hamilton to ninth place, while Dennis Priestley's run to the semi-finals sees him jump up three places to 11th.
Barrie Bates, who has now lost his prize money won two years ago in the Le Skratch-Sarantos Retsinas Memorial event played in Montreal, paid the price by slipping to 14th.
Ronnie Baxter and Colin Osborne move into the top 16, at the expense of Kevin Painter and Denis Ovens, while US Open quarter-final losers Chris Mason and Mark Dudbridge also went up the rankings.
