JYHAN ARTUT has won the two German Championship events staged at the Ramada Hotel in Niedernhausen last weekend.
Artut was pushed all the way in Saturday's quarter-finals and semi-finals before defeating Michael Wolf and Alexander Kohler.
He then defeated Andree Welge 6-2 in the final, before taking a 6-4 win against Tomas Seyler 24 hours later.
Artut enjoyed another win over Welge on Sunday, at the quarter-final stage, and defeated Colin Rice 6-3 in the semis.
Seyler enjoyed a strong weekend, reaching the semi-finals on Saturday before losing to Welge, while Kevin Munch was Sunday's other semi-finalist.
