TWO qualifiers will be staged for players resident in Ireland and Northern Ireland to win places in the 2007 Ireland Open Classic.
The Ireland Open Classic will take place on Sunday 9 September at the TF Royal Hotel in Castlebar, Co Mayo.
The TF Royal Hotel will host the second qualifier for players to win a place alongside PDPA members in the Players Championship tournament.
That will take place from 1pm on Sunday 26 August, and will be preceded by a qualifier on Saturday 18 August at the Central Bar, Dromore, Co Tyrone, also starting at 1pm.
Players in each event will be drawn into groups of four, with two knockout "semi-finals" and then a "final" being played in each group, with the winner taking a place in the Ireland Open Classic.
Entry costs £25 and is open to any non-PDPA member resident in Ireland or Northern Ireland. The format will be the best of 15 legs throughout and the entry deadline is available until midday on the date of each event.
To enter and for further information, contact Ronnie Boyle on 07776 365059 (0044 7776 365059 from Rep. Ireland), email rb180irishdarts@yahoo.co.uk or visit www.irishdarts.com.
PDPA members can enter the Ireland Open Classic via the PDC Online Entry System, and non-members resident in Ireland or Northern Ireland can enter direct into the main event for £75 via Ronnie Boyle.
