THE deadline for entries to the ITV Wildcard Qualifier for the PartyBets.com Grand Slam of Darts has been extended to 4pm on Thursday 27 September.
The tournament has been extensively advertised on ITV Sport this week during their coverage of the UEFA Champions League, IRB Rugby World Cup and other sports events.
It has now been decided to extend the deadline for £25 entries into the ITV Wildcard Qualifier by one week to allow all interested players to enter.
The ITV Wildcard Qualifier will give two darts players a place in the £300,000 PartyBets.com Grand Slam of Darts at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall in November.
The event is open to ANY darts player and will be played at the Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton on Sunday 30 September.
All games will be the best of nine legs, and the draw will be unseeded - meaning ambitious local league players who enter could be drawn against a top professional who has yet to win his place in the Grand Slam of Darts.
